You must read the International Society of First Responders ("First Responder") Privacy Policy
(this document) and Website Terms and Conditions prior to using
any portion of the First Responder Website. By using the First
Responder Website, you agree to all terms of this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy,
you may not use any portion of the First Responder Website.

by First Responder. First Responder respects your privacy and
has written this Privacy Policy so that you are aware of the
information First Responder collects from you, how that information
is protected, and how it is used.

is owned by International Society of First Responders (First Responder). First Responder may ask users to provide
personal information, including, but not limited to, the user's
name and e-mail address in order for users to subscribe to
or access certain services on the Website. First Responder
reserves the right to freely share any aggregated, non-personal
information including, but not limited to data such as the
Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer and your browser
software (i.e. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) and configuration
used with our licensees, business partners, advertisers, sponsors,
and other third parties.
Except as otherwise stated, First Responder may use both non-personal
and personally identifiable user information to improve the
content of the site, to customize the site to user preferences,
to communicate information to users, for marketing and research
purposes, for the development and support of First Responder
programs and activities, and for any other purposes specified
in this Privacy Policy. First Responder reserves the right
to disclose your personally identifiable information to its
licensees, business partners, and affiliates that agree to
treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
From time to time, First Responder may be required to disclose
personally identifiable information in response to legal process,

Responder also may disclose such information in response to
a law enforcement agency's request, or where it believes it

illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential

law. In addition, First Responder may transfer information

II. PROTECTION OF USER INFORMATION:
First Responder will use reasonable efforts to protect personal
information submitted to the Web Site by users from loss, misuse,

All registered users will be required to review and agree to

Policy. Although First Responder takes appropriate measures

be used by First Responder to enable First Responder to track

to the First Responder Website. First Responder is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of other sites linked
to the Website. First Responder encourages users to read the
privacy policies of Web sites when they connect to them through
the First Responder Website.
VII. FIRST RESPONDER COMMUNICATIONS:
Occasionally First Responder will notify its users of updates
and other valuable information about First Responder and the
Website. In order to minimize the occurrence of SPAM, all e-mails
from First Responder will clearly be from First Responder,
contain First Responder-related content, and will have an First
Responder return address. If you wish to remove yourself from
any update e-mails, as detailed in this Privacy Policy, please
login, visit the "My Account" page on this web site,
choose "No" for the question "Send me The Responder
Newsletter".
Additionally, all e-mails from First Responder will include
instructions on how to unsubscribe from these specific future
mailings.
VIII. CONTACT US:
If a user elects to contact First Responder through the "Contact
Us" page on this site the user is asked for their name,
e-mail address, and a message containing their inquiry. First
Responder stores this data in order to reply to the submitted
inquiry. Once a user contacts First Responder, the submitted
information is then owned by First Responder and subject to
the terms detailed in this Privacy Policy.
You relinquish any and all rights to suggestions, ideas or
other content that you submit to the First Responder Website.
The act of submitting suggestions, ideas or other content to
the Website, First Responder, or any of its Providers does
not, in itself, create an agreement of any kind between you
and First Responder. First Responder reserves the right to
freely use and modify the submitted suggestions, ideas or other
content without first obtaining your consent.
IX. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF THIRTEEN (13):
First Responder is unable to prevent children under the age
of thirteen (13) from visiting the Website. Children under
the age of thirteen (13) are not allowed to use the Website
without parental consent or supervision. In order to comply
with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, First Responder
will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information
from children under the age of thirteen (13). By providing
personal identifiable information through the Website including,
but not limited to, your name and e-mail address, you represent
and warrant that you are at least thirteen (13) years of age
and that you agree to comply with First Responder 's Privacy

is used. First Responder reserves the right to change the Privacy
